Attractions
You won’t find another place that combines so ideally, romance, culture, gastronomy and luxurious leisure, all amidst a stunning volcanic scenery and the breathtaking Aegean blue — Santorini has it all.
Fira
Fira, the capital of Santorini, is the most cosmopolitan town on the island. Travellers fall in love with its orientation, just opposite the impressive volcano and the islets of Palaia Kameni and Nea Kameni. Home to the Archaeological Museum of Thera and the Museum of PrehistoricThera and with a vibrant social life, it is a not-to-be-missed Santorini gem.

Oia
Perched on cliffs soaring high above the sea and gazing out on a spellbinding caldera view, Oia is probably the fairest village of the Aegean Sea; a confluence of natural and man-made beauty. Tiny white dwellings, aristocratic captain houses, blue domes, winding alleys that lead to elegant restaurants or stunning viewpoints and the most unforgettable sunsets you’ve ever seen.

Pyrgos
Unveil a different side of Santorini that harkens back to a bygone, slow lifestyle in Pyrgos. Stop at the village’s main square for a glass of ouzo or wine accompanied before you continue your exploration to marvel at the quaint streets, the historic Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary or the Kasteli of Pyrgos.

Historical Sites
Apart from the notable archaeological sites, memories of the past are found in the five castles of Santorini — in Emporio, Oia, Pyrgos, Akrotiri, Akrotiri and Skaros in Imerovigli near Magma Resort Santorini— the old churches, Catholic cathedrals and monasteries, and in any of the fascinating museums showcasing Santorini’s heritage ranging from archaeology, folk culture, industrial history, wine tradition, nautical development and so much more.

Akrotiri
The archaeological site of Akrotiri is one of the most significant landmarks on the island, where excavations have revealed traces of Santorini’s Minoan civilization dating back to as early as 4,500 BC which was destroyed by the volcanic eruption of 1,650 BC. Travel back to memories, once covered under lava and ash and now awaiting to be unveiled.

Ancient Thera
Ancient Thera is a naturally fortified spot towering over the area of Mesa Vouno. It offers views that will leave you speechless, but there is definitely more here to enchant you; showcasing findings that span several centuries — from the archaic era to the Byzantine past of Santorini — this is a truly fascinating destination for history lovers.

Volcanic Beaches
The volcanic shores of Santorini radiate with unique charm. Here, red and black pebbles, dark sands or dreamlike white cliffs set the tone. From the celebrated Red beach, Vlychada and White Beach to the much quieter atmosphere of Vourvoulos or Exo Yalos, you’ll find a new sensation to dive into every day.
